Warehouse Manager

Job Location: Tygart Valley, Leer Mine Complex – Grafton, WV

Overall Job Purpose: Maintain operations and security of warehousing function.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety in the workplace and housekeeping practices
  • Plan, direct, and supervise timely and accurate receiving, on-site delivery, storage and protection, issuance, packing and shipping, and cycle counts
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities of warehouse personnel including interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work of subordinate(s), establishing work schedules and work locations, appraising performance, disciplining, addressing complaints, and resolving problems
  • Maintain the integrity of the computerized perpetual inventory system
  • Responsible for disposal of equipment, materials, and supplies declared surplus or obsolete
  • Prepare and/or adhere to corporate warehousing guidelines and procedures
  • Expedite repair orders, monitor and return goods for credit
  • Ensure adherence to insurance requirements, patents, and MSDS regulations
  • Track warranty issues and relay part number/product change information to the user
  • Keep clients informed of parts delivery and updates as they arise
  • Oversee and meet all ATF guidelines
  • Update computer files/information
Required Education & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of warehousing supervisory experience at mining operation
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Proficient use of automated materials management software, as well as Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to possess a current ATF and ACI complete background check
