With 15 percent of America's annual coal supply, Arch is ready to serve you. We mine and sell predominantly cleaner-burning, low-sulfur steam, metallurgical and PCI coals.

The coal quality (average Btu and SO2 content) from each of our mines is estimated within the “Our Mines” section and in our products guide.

We operate more than 20 mining complexes in the eastern and western United States that have access to every major rail system as well as competitive access to inland waterways and export facilities from the east, west and gulf coasts.
